Meet Your Therapist

Paula Chaput, LICSW, CCTSI

Paula Chaput, LICSW, CCTSI

Hi, I’m Paula Chaput, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist–Individual, and the founder of Mosaic Counseling & Associates.

Helping people find the right therapeutic fit is one of my greatest passions. Whether you work with me or one of our talented clinicians, I believe that healing begins with feeling genuinely understood, respected, and supported.

Clients often describe therapy with me as feeling like a warm conversation with an old friend—someone who listens closely while also encouraging, challenging, and helping them recognize strengths they may have lost sight of.

You have made it this far for a reason. Along the way, you have developed resilience, wisdom, and coping skills that matter. Together, we can identify what is already helping, build on your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the changes you want to make.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized to your individual needs and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, most often integrating Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic & Experiential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Theories.

I believe meaningful change becomes possible when people feel seen, empowered, and equipped with tools that fit their real lives. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and a deeper connection with the strengths that have been within you all along.

Therapy is a journey that can look quite different from person to person, and I am honored to travel that path with individuals.

My practice is psychodynamic in nature and aims to invite your whole self into the therapeutic space. I practice on the belief that you are deserving of your own unique happiness. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment approach and come to each session with curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful listening.

Together, we can create treatment plans that work for you as an individual in addressing your specific concerns, goals, stressors, symptoms, experiences, and more. I believe therapy offers the potential to reveal paths of growth and opportunities we did not know were possible.

I warmly welcome adults of all ages seeking support, including those new to therapy and those currently engaged in mental health supports (e.g. outreach programs, case management, respite care, etc.).

My areas of experience and interest include life transitions, navigating relationships, grief counseling, and community-based mental health support/therapy. Wherever you are in life, I aim to meet you there and explore with you in whichever directions you choose to go.

Amanda Bergquist, LMHC

Amanda Linssner Bergquist, LMHC

Hello! My name is Amanda Lissner Bergquist, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering telehealth therapy services in Massachusetts. Trained in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health, I have been fortunate to explore the potential of utilizing various creative outlets to facilitate self-expression and emotional exploration.

My primary therapeutic approach is Humanistic Therapy, which emphasizes personal growth, self-acceptance, and a client-centered perspective. I also incorporate Gestalt theory, which focuses on the present moment, and utilize multiple Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches. Additionally, I am trained in trauma-informed care and active listening, and I strive to provide a judgment-free, welcoming, and open environment for my clients.

Collaboratively, clients of all ages work with me to set goals and develop a plan to address symptoms and concerns. I offer a warm and supportive approach, serving as a reliable sounding board, mirror, and resource for skill development, emotional regulation, and goal setting.

As a therapist, my goal is to help clients approach themselves with compassion and curiosity, access their own insight, and trust their ability to navigate life’s challenges and thrive.

Rooted in my own neurodivergence, I aim to offer a space where clients feel free from judgment or shame. The ways we think and feel are not flaws; they are rich and complex sources of self-understanding. I welcome folks from all walks of life, and I value creating a space where no one has to explain or defend who they are.

My approach is informed by psychodynamic therapy as well as behavioral approaches, including ACT and DBT. I also enjoy incorporating elements of Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems.

My clinical experience includes school-based therapy with adolescents and young adults, family support, and supporting individuals through various stages of recovery from substance use and disordered eating.

Kelly Morrissey, LMHC

Kelly Morrissey, LMHC

Hi there! I’m Kelly Morrissey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor offering individual counseling services via telehealth in Massachusetts.

I am a person-centered therapist, meaning I consider myself to be your collaborator in the therapy process, not your leader. I see you as the expert in your own life and believe in your ability to grow and change in the direction you choose, but will highlight if your actions don’t align with your goals. Therapy is a continual process of modification and reflection – experimenting with different ways to interact with yourself and the world around you, analyzing progress, and integrating successes. I intend to hold up the mirror to let you see yourself, but I’ll make sure you know if you’ve got something in your teeth!

As your counselor, I rely on a combination of techniques primarily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, somatic experiencing, and narrative therapy. I will provide you with structure, psychoeducation, and skills practice for managing everyday challenges while we create a safe space for processing, reflection, and integration of deeper experiences that form your identity and views of the world. Your personal beliefs – your culture, your spirituality, your religion – are welcome in this space.

Mind-body practices like breathwork, intentional movement, and mindfulness play an important role in my own life and are frequently present in my counseling sessions. I take a trauma-informed, somatic approach to nervous system regulation as an anchor for managing life’s challenges.

Jax, Therapy Dog in Training & Chief Comfort Officer

🐾  Hi. I'm Jax. I enjoy sunbathing, digging holes that no one asked for, chasing sticks, taking long walks.

And I also have a job.

My mom says I have a natural talent for therapy. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but apparently I’m very good at knowing when someone could use a little extra company.

If you’d like, I can sit next to you while you lazily pet me. I can stretch out on the floor and rest my head on your feet. I can make you laugh when therapy feels a little too serious. And sometimes, I can simply be there—no talking required.

I’m still learning, so you may occasionally see me practicing my manners, working on my patience, or becoming briefly distracted by something extremely important… like a squirrel.

And don’t worry—spending time with me is always your choice. If dogs aren’t your thing, I promise not to take it personally.

My goal is pretty simple: help you feel a little safer, a little more comfortable, and maybe leave with a little dog hair on your pants.

Hope to see you around Mosaic!
